Lane is 8 years old and started riding calves at age 3 and on his 5th birthday wanted to ride steers for one of his gifts. So we let him and he hasn't missed a beat since. He has been riding mini bulls for two years as well. Recently won a summer series were he rode against boys ages 8 to 15.
He has won several buckles as well in barrels, poles and goats and calf riding. He won the all around reserve buckle missing his first saddle by a few points in 2007. His horse Buck in now Joe Joes mount and Lane has been training a new horse that won him some money at thier first rodeo in the breakaway and goat tyin'. He definetly has a world champion title in his future. |
